First this item comes fully assembled which was an interesting surprise. Immediately upon removing the cabinet from the box I noticed two huge dents on the top and side vertices. Knocked off a star for that. They can be easily hammered back into shape because the material used is extremely flimsy and weak. Damage is probably due to weak material and the cabinet shipping fully assembled. The inside of the drawers are very industrial looking and not attractive - unpainted bare metal with lots of weird textures, cuts and holes presumably the drawers are used in other items they manufacture.
Not really an issue for me but something to consid er. Otherwise the drawers are all nicely aligned and slide pretty well. There is some wiggle but its not bad. As expected they have the classic filing cabinet "clunk" sound when you open and close them. It's an acquired taste. The locking mechanism works great and is a nice touch.
